In addition to participating in our Virtual Early Learning program, there are plenty of other ways to incorporate learning in your child’s day-to-day. Spend some time using additional resources online, or print out a chart, image or diagram to display in your home and use as an educational tool, watch them leap to new levels with your help.

You can also explore thousands of diverse websites by searching on Amazing Educational Resources. The site will give you the opportunity to explore resources by grade and/or category to easily find resources to enrich your child’s early learning experience. We hope these sites benefit your child and generate excitement about learning at home and online!

Cerebral Palsy Guide is a national support organization dedicated to educating individuals and families about cerebral palsy. Reading Resources

TumbleBooks is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach your child the joys of reading! Books are available in multiple languages. To access the site contact dwebb@prn.bc.ca, the Virtual Early Learning Facilitator, for account information.

Storyline Online is an online streaming service that allows you to watch videos of children’s books being read aloud to help improve reading, writing, communication skills and more.

 

Educational Games 

Starfall covers math, language arts and music in fun exciting ways. The site has videos, games, sing-along songs and much more.

Fun Brain has great games, books and videos for early learners located in their Pre-K playground section. 

PBS Kids has many educational games separated into a large variety of topics. There’s tons to choose from and explore.

ABCya is another great resource for skill, strategy, word, and math games online. 

Printable Resources, Charts and Sheets

Activity Village is a great place to find colouring pages, seasonal printables, puzzles, and useful learning print out materials. 

Preschool Printables is another great place to find calendars, games and charts.
